The Junior Taiwanese American Student Association (JTASA) is a high school student organization that exists to unify, connect, and strengthen the Taiwanese-American community by providing opportunities and training for high school students to become future leaders. Our mission is to: 1) Increase awareness of Taiwanese culture 2) Help students identify with their Taiwanese heritage 3) Encourage students to become active and responsible citizens in their society Objectives: 1) Provide volunteer opportunities and foster a sense of community service in members 2) Help students establish connections with college and adult organizations through effective networking 3) Give members the chance to create new relationships through social interaction 4) Instill a pride in being Taiwanese American |
